Two story steel framed structure situated on an existing podium platform of concrete construction over the elevated concrete plaza structure (by others). This wood and steel structure will be limited to support locations provided in the development of the plaza and garage / parking facility. Coordination drawings will be made available for review. The proposed building structure will have some unique features and additional loading requirements for a brewery and tanks. Such features include a rectangular tower feature at the south west corner overlooking the Ohio River. The second floor will have exterior dining cantilevered from the building over the plaza below on both the south and west exteriors. Full height glazing is proposed on three sides as well. The roof will consist of wood construction utilizing heavy glued laminated beams and dimensional lumber. The second floor will consist of steel beams and composite metal decking and concrete. Bracing for this structure will consist of rigid frames in the east – west direction while steel diagonal bracing will be provided in the north – south direction.
